Aligning Strategy With Delivery Through Impact Agility

This session gives mission‑focused technology and operations leaders a practical, ministry‑friendly introduction to organizational agility. We’ll look at the real pressures ministries face—rapid digital change, too many priorities, unclear decisions, and overloaded teams—and show how adopting impact agility ways of working creates a clear line from strategy to priorities to delivery to impact/value for Kingdom purposes of your mission organization.

We’ll review core agile values and principles and translate these for ministry work. We’ll introduce the practice of defining OKRs in partnership with your organization’s leaders to drive clarity and alignment. We’ll consider how to apply Lean Portfolio practices to drive alignment and focus and strengthen tech resource stewardship. And most of all to speed the delivery of impact and keeping the pace of work sustainable!

I recently started using GrapheneOS instead of stock Android. We’ll talk about why and how hard it was to make the change, in technical and workflow aspects. I’ll also share other options, such as CalyxOS and Cape, which are also worth considering. While this will focus on issues of US law and practice, they affect anyone who travels internationally or who uses a bank or credit card.
